As we supply several different models of carb (making it difficult for the customer to know which filter/plate is required) this item is intended for us to match the backing plate and filter to the carbs being used in your kit. The filter kit will consist of. Pipercross PX500 Dome Filter Element (available in 3 heights – we will spec this according to the carbs). 1.6mm thick aluminium base plate to suit the carbs we are utilising in your carb kit, allowing fitment of the Pipercross PX500 range of air filters. Comes complete with 3x Female Dzus clips for mating to the male filter clips and necessary fasteners for securing to the carburettors. If you have any specific space restrictions or concerns please include this in the notes – we have done kits in most type of cars and can usually tailor trumpet lengths and filter sizes to suit. A minimum distance of 25mm is recommended from the end of the trumpet to the inside face of the filter for optimum performance.
