The DNA Stage 2 Adventure Expedition Kit is designed to replace the stock BMW air filter and restrictive plastic frame, offering superior airflow and filtration efficiency for enhanced engine performance. Engine Capacity: 1200 / 1250. DNA Filtering Efficiency: 98-99%. This kit replaces the stock BMW air filter and the restricting plastic frame, allowing for improved airflow. The filter is designed to “sit” lower than the stock filter, freeing the two air flow passages that direct cold air from the front of the bike to the filter. The smooth direction of incoming air towards the lower air box eliminates restrictions and turbulence, enhancing torque and power. The active filtering surface of the DNA Adventure Expedition Air Filter measures 132,300 mm², offering 80% larger filtering surface and 38.5% more airflow compared to the standard replacement air filter. The increased filtering surface and airflow extend the service intervals of the filter, allowing for longer travel periods before cleaning is necessary. Despite the revolutionary design, the filtering efficiency remains high at 98-99%, utilising 4 layers of DNA cotton. This DNA S2 application is suitable for both road and off-road use.
